About Us

Matthew Cohen founded Financial Module Consulting, bringing his knowledge from a career designing financial systems and managing products in the United States and Europe, for some of the world's largest financial institutions, working in the areas of Market Risk, Credit Risk, Credit Card Banking, Retail Banking, Asset Management, Brokerage, and Regulatory Reporting units. In addition to his consultant roles and project management, Mr. Cohen has served as a Product Manager for a Fortune 500 company's market risk and stress test reporting software for Hedge Funds, Pension Plans, Endowments and Asset Managers.

Mr. Cohen has also built banking systems for another Fortune 500 company's offshore operations as Lead Developer, and his approach to consulting considers the interests of everyone from the end-user to the developer from his direct experience in each role. Mr. Cohen earned his B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, and has been a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts since 2005.
